Ambrosi Spa celebrates its 70th Anniversary

Ambrosi has been in the dairy industry since 1942. Today, the company is a leader in Italy and globally in traditional Italian cheeses.

It was 1942, when Ottorino Ambrosi, father of Giuseppe, who has been at the helm since 1994, started a butter production facility in the center of Brescia.

Over the past 70 years, the Company has grown and specialized in the production, selection and packaging of the best traditional Italian cheeses.

Ambrosi Spa sells to 64 countries around the world and its core strategic objective is to be present in the international trade by focusing on technological innovation , a class leading distribution and logistics service and its focus on the “Green Initiative”  in which the Company has made significant investments in recent years in terms of energy savings in production sites, focus on renewable energies and energy efficiency.

 

Giuseppe Ambrosi  has guided the company since 1994 and since 2000 has been  president of Assolatte - "I would like to thank all the team members as far back as 1942 that has enabled the company to achieve these impressive results. For Ambrosi, this anniversary is an important milestone with a history that makes us proud and motivates us to face new challenges.

Ambrosi will also maintain its strong presence in the domestic market, and going forward will continue to dedicate itself to increasing its export share via its sales force and direct investments. As an example, in 2012, we obtained, together with our partner Emmi, a French company (Diprola) specializing in the packaging of cheeses from Italy, France and Switzerland with the objective of maximizing the export potential of  Italian cheese.
